CoverWheel
CoverWheel is a system designed and patented by our company, Yachting and Car Ideas, to help car dealers sell rims on new and used cars. Until now, car dealers did not have many tools to show customers the effect of a rim directly on the car; the only tool available was the use of renderings. Now, withCoverWheel, everything has changed, because in less than 15 seconds you can change the rims on a car... or at least that's what it looks like!
How it works - Support
The real innovation ofCoverWheel lies in the design of a support that can be attached to the car rim in complete safety and in just 2 seconds. Using a spider consisting of 5 caps with magnets inside, the support anchors itself to the rim bolts without touching or damaging them. At the back of the support there is another magnet, with a larger diameter, which serves as a hook for the Cover.
How it works - Cover
Another fundamental component ofCoverWheel is undoubtedly the cover, where the rim design is printed. The cover is printed on a 3mm thick Alubond panel, which is then cut to the exact size of the rim radius. Our team of graphic designers adapts the photographs of the rims to ensure the most realistic effect possible. As a final step, an iron disc is attached to the back of the cover, which acts as a hook for the central magnet of the support.
